I can’t tell you, over the last two decades, how many times I’ve heard from my wonderful clientele: “I wish I can have you with me, every day as I get ready!” I always replied: “ me too! Can you imagine having the luxury of an ‘in home’ beauty assistant?” I was always tickled by that exchange… nice idea, but there’s no way that could happen other than in Hollywood right?
The amazing connections I made over the years with my guests was my favorite part of my job. My work is so intimate, there has to be a mutual trust between us. It was this close connection I had job security! Computers can’t take over my job! As the great Barbara Streisand always said, “People who need people are the luckiest people in the world!” Little did I realize back then, how narrow my thinking was.
Necessity being the mother of invention, fast forward a couple of decades and here we are in a new way of connecting. To my amazement, computers are starting to take over our connection to one another. How can I adapt my very hands on job through the computer screen? I’m proud to say, with uniting my yogic background, which let me hone a keen capability to concisely talk you through your body movement safely, I realized why not be able to talk you through your self-care until we can meet with one another again. I’m so excited to say that this new perspective of ‘guided self-care’ is a very real possibility!!!
This virtual aesthetics beauty treatment is no longer a just possibility. I have made it a reality. Its as simple starting with a consultation, assessing your type. This would happen through a session on zoom to have a series of question asked and a visual assessment. Once your skin type is understood, we would make sure you had certain ingredients available.
